Michael Moses Oshionebo AKA “Big Joe” (born 27 September 1984) is a Nigerian up and coming artist currently based in Durban.

His fresh, club banging afrobeat sounds speak of raw talent and musical promise.

Big Joe has always had a love for the arts, started off as a fashion designer owning a boutique in Nigeria and was popular for his street fashion and most of all his artistic skill in that regard.

In 2013 he decided to close shop and head down to South Africa to pursue a better life, he started working some menial 9-5 jobs but could not pull himself away from music.

He started playing around in the studio and on one jam session with Durban music producer Captain Blu, wrote and completed his first track Bolanle within minutes, from that day no one could hold him back.

Big Joe went on to write and co-produce more tracks like Why you leaving so soon, No Boss Forever and the current club banger hit Ori which he just recently shot and launched a video for.

He is currently featured in DJ Vee’s Mixtape along with other African artists such as Davido and Wizkid but best of all he has his own label- Mikky Jay Entertainment Ltd.
