TRAP BUJA SOUND RECORDS ARTIST, BIGGY SOUND, RELEASED YET ANOTHER EPIC SOLO EP

Durban, KZN. – April 1, 2019 – TBS Records artist, Biggy Sound, is a recording artist, singer, rapper, and songwriter. He is a multitalented rapper and singer who has over 50 songs and mixes under his name.

Early this year, Biggy Sound released his first solo EP titled TRAP BUJA, which rocked the airwaves, receiving massive admiration from colleagues and friends. He is regarded as one of the finest Buja Trap rapper from the East Africa to ever handle a microphone. A feat he is able to achieve due to his ability to combine trap rap style with the South African Gqom sound to create a unique style that appeals to his fans worldwide. Biggy Sound incredible popular culture type of music has left him with good number of streams worldwide. He was able to achieve this success without the help or support of any major record label.

Biggy Sound music appeals to range of followers and has performed in much-crowded events in Durban and other mega cities across the country. Biggy Sound expresses his enthusiasm toward the reception of his music since coming into limelight. He says,

“I am overwhelmed at the amount of praises and love people have showered to me, it gives me nothing but joy and motivation to keep working hard and to make more good music. To be honest, it feels surreal for me when I see how much people love my music.”

It is safe to say that in South Africa’s music industry where popular sounds like Gqom, Deep House, SA hip-hop, Kwaito, etc., dominate, for one to come up with a different type of sound and vibe is definitely a hard nut to crack.

“At first, I was a bit skeptical about how people are going to respond to my kind of sound, especially when GQOM and other incredible music sound rule the industry. Having this thought at the back of my mind, I was more than determined to do what I feel will be accepted and it later turned out to be well appreciated. Ever since I have not relenting, I have been working hard because I want my next music project to be better that what I have right now. So I am very much excited”.

Biggy Sound was not entirely sure about the outcome of his venturing into music with his unique style. But one thing for sure that seemed to have been his biggest inspiration was his talent and ability to conceive new ideas. He says,

“I knew I wanted to do something different with my kind of music but not knowing how it might appeal to the public pushes me to be more creative with my sound. So I had to fused in trap rap and gqom together to achieve the unique sound your in hear in my music.”

Despite these posing challenges in the countries music industry, Biggy Sound has managed to shoot through the roof with his incredible unique tune.

With the success of his first EP, Biggy Sound and his record label TBS management are pleased to announce the release of his second solo EP: THE BUTERERE BOY on April 1, 2019. The new EP has eight tracks, featuring fellow Durban based artists, the likes of DARCLVN, CHRIS DIZO, and SCOTCH SUPERNOVA. Producers who worked on this incredible new project include, NEO NDAWO, NDEWE, and SIBBAH MUSIC. All 8 tracks were written by Biggy Sound, except lines from the featured artists. As from April 1, 2019 the EP will be available for purchase, streaming and download in all music platforms.
